Revelation 6:1, 3-4
“Then I watched as the Lamb opened the first of the seven seals. Then I heard one of the four living beings speak with a voice like thunder. It said, “Come!” The Lamb opened the second seal. Then I heard the second living being say, “Come!” Then another horse came out, a red one. The rider on the horse was given power to take away peace from the earth so that people would kill each other. He was given a big sword.”
The word "church" (or ekklesia) is mentioned 19 times in Revelation, all within the first three chapters, where Jesus sends messages to seven specific historical churches. The word then disappears until the end of the book, with Jesus stating, "I, Jesus, have sent my angel to testify to you about these things for the churches," in Revelation 22:16.
The first seal isn’t opened until Revelation 6 that kicks off the tribulation. Revelation 4, John is shown heaven and in Revelation 5, it’s shown that Jesus is worthy to open the seal.
Some believe that the church will go through the tribulation. If so, why isn’t the word church mentioned at all after Revelation 3 which is prior to the wrath of God being poured out on the earth? You will see the word saint, which refers to people that get saved AFTER THE Rapture.
The 24 second shot clock is on. Our time is short. With love I urge you that if you know people that aren’t saved and are led by the spirit to speak to them please do it.
Please follow the ABCs of salvation below by having people repeat.
Accountability- say, Dear God, I am a sinner,
Believe, I believe Jesus Christ is the son of God and that he died for all of my sins, past, present, and future and finished the work on the cross.
Confess - I believe that you resurrected from the grave on the 3rd day and confess you as Lord and Savior of my life. Heavenly Father thank you for sending Jesus to die in my place and I am now the Righteousness of God through Christ Jesus.
I’m So Free!!!
