“Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

Alone (Part 2)

Watch and pray. Pay attention to what’s going on. Temptation will always be present. It will always be there to throw you off course. I know this feeling oh so well. To be locked in for a certain amount of time and to slip up into some foolishness real quick. This is why you can never be so confident in yourself. (Pr 25:27 to seek one’s own glory is not glory.) You can never you think you have everything under control. We see it in the passage for today. The spirit indeed is willing but that flesh though, weak.

For me these days I just watch what I’m putting in my system. Watching what I’m hearing. Watching what I’m watching. Anything can be an access point for lil man to slide in. I remember when I was younger I used to like that Busta Rhymes and Janet Jackson song. 🎶Gonna get your body wet.🎶  Had no idea at that time what it was talking about. I just liked the song. The beat was cold and I liked how they came on it. I found out later though. Was over my grandma crib and woke up and was wet alright. Thought I peed on myself. Didn’t have anyone to ask about it so I just showered and kept it moving. When I got older I realized what it was. A wet dream. Gonna get your body wet alright. That was the access point where lil man slid in. I know how easy it is for him to get a foothold. It could be a song. A movie. A tv show. A place. People. You really gotta keep your eyes open and be alert. He will try anything to knock you off course. The spirit indeed is willing, but it that flesh, weak! He’s coming

If you are not saved or know someone that isn’t saved and what I mean by saved is believe that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior please follow the ABC’s of salvation below by repeating.

Accountability- say, Dear God, I am a sinner,

Believe- I believe Jesus Christ is the son of God and that he died for all of my sins, past, present, and future and finished the work on the cross.

Confess- I believe that you resurrected from the grave on the 3rd day and confess you as Lord and Savior of my life. Heavenly Father thank you for sending Jesus to die in my place and I am now the Righteousness of God through Christ Jesus.

“that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭10‬:‭9‬ ‭

After this, simply believe it in your heart.
