1 Thess 4:18

“Therefore comfort one another with these words.”

He’s coming to get us. To meet us in the clouds. The dead shall rise first and then all who are alive and remain will rise next. He’s coming soon! It’s nothing that should bring fear. It should bring hope and peace. Many are scoffing and mocking (believers and unbelievers) at us for having this hope, but be of good cheer. Be comforted because we have this hope.

Jesus said no man knows the day or hour when He will come. He was talking to the Jews. They have been in school learning the ways of the Lord since a young age, so when He said that to them (no man knows the day nor hour, a Jewish idiom) they understood it would be around the Feast of Trumpets. Rosh Hashanah. The Father does everything at the fullness of time. At its appointed time. It’s fixed time. The time that has been set since the beginning. Up to us to watch and be ready. What’s more important down here on earth that we are not ready to go and be with Him forever? I like during the time of Elul they read Psalms 27 daily to lock back in and prepare for what’s to come. Ain’t it like the Father to let us know beforehand so we can get our belief together and make sure those we love are straight? He loves us frfr! Sent His son for us and then letting us know when He’s coming so we can be ready. Be in comfort. He’s coming!

If you are not saved or know someone that isn’t saved and what I mean by saved is believe that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior please follow the ABCs of salvation below by repeating.

Accountability- say, Dear God, I am a sinner,

Believe, I believe Jesus Christ is the son of God and that he died for all of my sins, past, present, and future and finished the work on the cross.

Confess - I believe that you resurrected from the grave on the 3rd day and confess you as Lord and Savior of my life. Heavenly Father thank you for sending Jesus to die in my place and I am now the Righteousness of God through Christ Jesus.

After this, simply believe it in your heart.
