Matthew 22:19-21

“Show me the coin used for paying the tax.” They brought him a denarius, and he asked them, “Whose image is this? And whose inscription?” “Caesar’s,” they replied. Then he said to them, “So give back to Caesar what is Caesar’s, and to God what is God’s.”

The physical church is the only organization that exists for the benefit of nonmembers. Don't gatekeep Christianity!  We should not disqualify anyone from God’s Grace and love. The church's quest for political power robbed it of Kingdom power and has caused great division.

Throughout history, every time the church sought political power, it failed the overall mission of Jesus Christ. It’s difficult to love your neighbor when you’re continually searching for an echo chamber and considering everyone else as an “opp”.

(Luke 10:25-37) tells the parable of the good samaritan. A man was walking down the street and basically got beat down, robbed and left for dead. The first person that walked by him was a godly man. The godly man wanted no parts and crossed the street to avoid him. Next a familiar type of man walked by him and also crossed the street to avoid helping him. Lastly, what would be considered a modern day “opp” came upon him and took pity on him. This man helped clean his wounds up and placed him in an inn and told the innkeeper that l will be back in a few days and take care of any other bills he racks up for his care. Jesus ended the parable by asking of these 3 men, the godly man, the familiar man, and the “opp”, who acted neighborly?

1 Peter 4:8 tells us, Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. Let’s not gate keep and disqualify people from God’s love.  Politics will not be raptured with the church.

If you are not saved or know someone that isn’t saved and what I mean by saved is believe that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior please follow the ABCs of salvation below by repeating.

Accountability- say, Dear God, I am a sinner,

Believe, I believe Jesus Christ is the son of God and that he died for all of my sins, past, present, and future and finished the work on the cross.

Confess - I believe that you resurrected from the grave on the 3rd day and confess you as Lord and Savior of my life. Heavenly Father thank you for sending Jesus to die in my place and I am now the Righteousness of God through Christ Jesus.

After this, simply believe it in your heart.
