1 John 4:20
The verse I used was (1 John 4:20) “Those who say, “I love God,” and hate their brothers or sisters, are liars; for those who do not love a brother or sister whom they have seen, cannot love God whom they have not seen.”
“Your devotion to God is authenticated by your LOVE for others.” - Andy Stanley
I love how simple (1 John 4:20) is. The Bible provides a definition for the word LIAR. Those who say that, “they LOVE God” whom they have never seen but hate their brothers and sisters that they have seen is a LIAR.
This is very visible here in the United States where those in authority have the power to define, words, phrases, and actions without correction or challenge.
There are hate groups and political leaders that use Jesus as a mascot to further increase their power and authority. (Romans 8:13) instructs us to owe nothing to anyone except to love one another; for the one who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the Law.
(2 Timothy 3:5-7) speaks of individual that has a “form” of godliness but denies the power of it. You’re encouraged to turn away such people! This passage ends in verse 7 that further describes those individuals as ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the TRUTH.
You can’t be part of a hate group and say that you love your brothers and sisters in Christ and not be biblically defined as a liar.
If you are not saved or know someone that isn’t saved and what I mean by saved is believe that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior please follow the ABCs of salvation below by repeating.
Accountability- say, Dear God, I am a sinner,
Believe, I believe Jesus Christ is the son of God and that he died for all of my sins, past, present, and future and finished the work on the cross.
Confess - I believe that you resurrected from the grave on the 3rd day and confess you as Lord and Savior of my life. Heavenly Father thank you for sending Jesus to die in my place and I am now the Righteousness of God through Christ Jesus.
After this, simply believe it in your heart.
