Matthew 7:21
“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father in heaven.”
I know there’s a lot of religious fear placed behind Matthew 7:21 when it says that not everyone will enter into his kingdom but only those who does the will of the Father.
We should always allow the Bible to interpret the Bible and not emotions, fear, and religion.
In John 6:40, Jesus answers what the Father’s will is. That will is to look to the Son of Man (Jesus) and believe in him.
As a believer, don’t allow someone to use this against you to manipulate or cause you fear or leave you feeling like you don’t know what the will of God is for your life. Jesus tells you what the will of the Father (God) is over all of our lives.
If you are not saved or know someone that isn’t saved and what I mean by saved is believe that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior please follow the ABCs of salvation below by repeating.
Accountability- say, Dear God, I am a sinner,
Believe, I believe Jesus Christ is the son of God and that he died for all of my sins, past, present, and future and finished the work on the cross.
Confess - I believe that you resurrected from the grave on the 3rd day and confess you as Lord and Savior of my life. Heavenly Father thank you for sending Jesus to die in my place and I am now the Righteousness of God through Christ Jesus.
After this, simply believe it in your heart.
