Luke 23:39-43

“Then one of the criminals who were hanged blasphemed Him, saying, “If You are the Christ, save Yourself and us.” But the other, answering, rebuked him, saying, “Do you not even fear God, seeing you are under the same condemnation? And we indeed justly, for we receive the due reward of our deeds; but this Man has done nothing wrong.” Then he said to Jesus, “Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom.” And Jesus said to him, “Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.”

The Scripts for today is a perfect example of the ABC’s we put at the end of every devotional. Jesus was hanging on the cross between two men that deserved to be there. Criminals. One mocked and scorned  and blasphemed saying, “if you are the Christ, save Yourself and us.” It was no belief there. Just selfish ambition and wanting to be saved. He didn’t recognize who was in the midst of them. Maybe he didn’t hear about him. Maybe he did and just chose not to believe. Maybe he thought he was too far gone to be changed. Who knows, but one thing we do know is there was no repentance from this man. The other man rebuked this man saying, “do you not fear God, seeing you are under the same condemnation? And we indeed deserve our punishment for what we have done. But this man, Jesus, has done nothing wrong.” That simple. He A, acknowledged he was wrong and a sinner. He B, believed in who Jesus was. He C, confessed Him as Lord. Now boom! Forever in the presence of the Lord! That quick! We people made it harder than what it needs to be. Jesus did a perfect and finished work. He doesn’t need help from us. He just needs us to believe. We were all born into sin and condemnation. A debt we could never pay. The Father sent His son to pay it and all we gotta do is believe and receive His righteousness. We can’t do it on our own! Stop trying lil baby! He’s coming

If you are not saved or know someone that isn’t saved and what I mean by saved is believe that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior please follow the ABC’s of salvation below by repeating.

Accountability- say, Dear God, I am a sinner,

Believe- I believe Jesus Christ is the son of God and that he died for all of my sins, past, present, and future and finished the work on the cross.

Confess- I believe that you resurrected from the grave on the 3rd day and confess you as Lord and Savior of my life. Heavenly Father thank you for sending Jesus to die in my place and I am now the Righteousness of God through Christ Jesus.

“that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭10‬:‭9‬ ‭

After this, simply believe it in your heart.
