The Little Things Count

Acts 22:18

“and I saw Him saying to me, ‘Hurry and get out of Jerusalem quickly, because they will not accept your testimony about Me.’”
‭‭

"Just because you are doing a lot more doesn't mean you are getting a lot done. Don't confuse movement with progress"
- Denzel Washington

In Acts 22, Paul is arrested in Jerusalem and asks to speak to the crowds. He even spoke their language, Aramaic to be as clear as possible. Paul is honest while giving his testimony starting from the time he persecuted The Way (Christians), through the moment Jesus blinded him after asking him why is He persecuting Him, and lastly through Jesus again appearing in a vision and encouraging Paul to leave the city.

In (Acts 22:18), Jesus told Paul, Hurry and get out of Jerusalem quickly, because they WILL NOT ACCEPT your testimony about ME. Paul responded with a little condemnation about how the people knew he had arrested believers, had both men and women jailed and even played the role of cheerleader while Stephen was martyred “killed” for his belief in Christ.

Jesus again said, go! Witnessing for Christ is very important, however to do it without the leading of Christ could be both dangerous and self centered. Did Paul or even us today think that we care more about people being saved than the one who died for all sinners? The Holy Spirit will lead us, it’s coo to slow down and rest! We don’t have a quota and this can become a thin line to getting back into works.

(John 15:5) says, I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. In Christ is the only way to bear fruit and the Holy Spirit will guide us. It doesn’t have to be loud, it doesn’t have to be big but even the littlest thing you do while being led by the Spirit means EVERYTHING to Christ!

If you are not saved or know someone that isn’t saved and what I mean by saved is believe that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior please follow the ABCs of salvation below by repeating.

Accountability- say, Dear God, I am a sinner,

Believe, I believe Jesus Christ is the son of God and that he died for all of my sins, past, present, and future and finished the work on the cross.

Confess - I believe that you resurrected from the grave on the 3rd day and confess you as Lord and Savior of my life. Heavenly Father thank you for sending Jesus to die in my place and I am now the Righteousness of God through Christ Jesus.

After this, simply believe it in your heart.

I’m So Free!!!
