What Do You Believe?

John 11:40

“Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?””
‭‭

“Most people don’t let the Bible get in the way of what they believe”
-Andrew Womack

As I talk to individuals that profess to be Christians, I often run into the same question.  What do most “Christians” actually believe? Most Christians don’t believe in supernatural healing. Most Christians don’t believe in the gifts of the spirit and they certainly don’t believe in the rapture. So, you believe that Jesus died and rose again but that same Jesus can’t come back? That same Jesus that shed His blood can heal the common cold but I’m not so sure about cancer, diabetes, asthma, birthing complications, etc. You read the gospels and believe (Matthew 15:29-31) Jesus healed everyone that was brought to him but then say, well that was back then?

(John 14:12) says, Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father. I understand that currently holding someone accountable is equivalent to holding someone hostage but do you think it could be what you actually believe that is preventing these things to be seen in your life? (Matthew 8:13) explains, Then Jesus said to the Roman officer, “Go back home. Because you believed, it has happened.” And the young servant was healed that same hour. As you believe let it be done to you. As a believer it’s normal to have lack of belief in certain areas and when you do, simply ask for help in that area. (Mark 9:24) Immediately the father of the child cried out and said, “I believe; help my unbelief!” Jesus did not condemn this father for being honest and asking for help with unbelief.

Stop living as victims and believe in the authority that Christ died to give you! (Romans 8:11) And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you. The same spirit that raised Christ from the dead lives in you. Believe and speak these things into existence. Speak to your circumstances and health in Jesus name!

I’m tired of seeing some believe Jesus as some type of matchmaker. Belief in Christ is greater than some “prophetess” giving you a weekly word of finding the perfect man. Belief in Christ is greater than believing Jesus as some political mascot to increase the authority of a particular party. Belief in Christ is greater than purchasing your favorite author’s 10 steps to better living books. Belief in Christ is greater than some convention that is people focused and everyone leave the exact same way as when they arrived.

What do you believe as a “Christian”?

If you are not saved or know someone that isn’t saved and what I mean by saved is believe that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior please follow the ABCs of salvation below by repeating.

Accountability- say, Dear God, I am a sinner,

Believe, I believe Jesus Christ is the son of God and that he died for all of my sins, past, present, and future and finished the work on the cross.

Confess - I believe that you resurrected from the grave on the 3rd day and confess you as Lord and Savior of my life. Heavenly Father thank you for sending Jesus to die in my place and I am now the Righteousness of God through Christ Jesus.

After this, simply believe it in your heart.

I’m So Free!!!
