2 Timothy 1:6,7
“Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands. For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”
Whip that thang up! Wham! Wham! The Father didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. Paul talking to his mentee Timothy, had to remind him to stir up the gift. What gift? The gift of praying in the Spirit. The gift of praying in another tongue talking directly to God. This is the promise that was given to us in the upper room when the Spirit fell. Acts 2. The only thing they had to do was be there. Some think you have to tarry and wait for it but the Spirit wants to fill us! He came like a mighty rushing wind! The time was fulfilled. The time had fully come. As soon as the second hit the 12, the Father said go. It will be the same way when He comes for His church. At the appointed time. That fixed time. As soon as the clock hits 12, Jesus will come and get His people! Are you ready?
There are many benefits with praying in the Spirit. If you’re stressed, it will untangle that worry. If you don’t know what to pray, He will pray perfect prayers for you. Satan doesn’t understand what you’re saying. It reveals things to you that you didn’t know. It keeps you in the love of God. It’s builds you up. Body. Spirit. Soul. It gives you power. It gives you peace. It gives you a sound mind. The Father wanted us to have this first, right after salvation. But many don’t take advantage of all the benefits. Ask God to fill you. If you need someone to place their hands on you, hit me up. Either way, the Father is willing and wants us filled so we can be active out here. He’s coming
If you are not saved or know someone that isn’t saved and what I mean by saved is believe that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior please follow the ABC’s of salvation below by repeating.
Accountability- say, Dear God, I am a sinner,
Believe- I believe Jesus Christ is the son of God and that he died for all of my sins, past, present, and future and finished the work on the cross.
Confess- I believe that you resurrected from the grave on the 3rd day and confess you as Lord and Savior of my life. Heavenly Father thank you for sending Jesus to die in my place and I am now the Righteousness of God through Christ Jesus.
“that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”
Romans 10:9
After this, simply believe it in your heart.
