Deuteronomy 30:19

“This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live”

One reason that is given when you encourage someone to give their life to Christ is, I’m not ready and need to clean myself up first. It’s not about being ready, it’s more about being willing. To keep it 💯, sin is pleasurable and most aren’t willing to give up what they may think is “control” over their life for a list of what they can do and can’t do.

That list of do’s and don’t is called the administration or ministry of death in ( 1 Corinthians 3:7-8). Paul was talking about The 10 Commandments because they were the only laws that were engraved in stone. Why would Paul call the 10 commandments the ministry that brought death? (Romans 6:23) says the wages of sin is death and the purpose of the 10 commandments were to show people their sins. The 10 commandments, a list of do’s and don’ts, will not bring you salvation! This means your good works aren’t good enough for salvation. (Galatians 2:21) says that if righteousness (salvation) could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!”

Right doing doesn’t lead to right living, right BELIEVING leads to right living. Christ is on his way back for His church. Prepare yourself to be rescued by accepting Christ right now as you are.

If you are not saved or know someone that isn’t saved and what I mean by saved is believe that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior please follow the ABCs of salvation below by repeating.

Accountability- say, Dear God, I am a sinner,

Believe, I believe Jesus Christ is the son of God and that he died for all of my sins, past, present, and future and finished the work on the cross.

Confess - I believe that you resurrected from the grave on the 3rd day and confess you as Lord and Savior of my life. Heavenly Father thank you for sending Jesus to die in my place and I am now the Righteousness of God through Christ Jesus.

After this, simply believe it in your heart.
