John 11:35
Jesus wept.
Jesus wept after seeing the emotions and tears of Mary and Martha. These sisters were heartbroken over the death of their brother Lazarus. Jesus already knew he’d raise him from the dead but He wept knowing that death is an enemy of God and men were never created to die.
Jesus again wept over the city of Jerusalem in (Luke 19:41-42) when they rejected Him and what would have been true peace. Until this day it’s a veil over their eyes.
Right before his arrest and pending crucifixion, Jesus wept as he prayed with so much anguish that he sweated drops of blood. This weeping was not just for Him having to take on the past, present and future sin of the world but knowing that His Father could not look unto sin and that He would be separated from the Father for a little while.
These 3 times that Jesus wept were all completed on the cross! Death no longer reigns (1 Corinthians 15:55-57), we can now accept Him and receive him ( John 1:12) and we can all be with the Father and never be rejected forever! (1 Thessalonians 4:17)
If you are not saved or know someone that isn’t saved and what I mean by saved is believe that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior please follow the ABCs of salvation below by repeating.
Accountability- say, Dear God, I am a sinner,
Believe, I believe Jesus Christ is the son of God and that he died for all of my sins, past, present, and future and finished the work on the cross.
Confess - I believe that you resurrected from the grave on the 3rd day and confess you as Lord and Savior of my life. Heavenly Father thank you for sending Jesus to die in my place and I am now the Righteousness of God through Christ Jesus.
After this, simply believe it in your heart.
I’m So Free!!!
