John 10:10
“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came so that they would have life, and have it abundantly.”
It was always Jesus saves? But saves from what? Just Hell? What all comes with that? In the Greek the word saves is soteria. Which not only includes saving from Hell but also from sickness, disease, physical harm, and whatever situation you’re going through. So when Jesus said I came to give you life, are you really living the life He promised? This life is simple. People make it hard. We rather have rules and regulations that mean nothing for real. Can’t wear this or that. Can’t go here or there. Can’t do this or that. That doesn’t sound life more abundant to me. Doesn’t sound like freedom. Sounds like law. There is no law in the Spirit. The law (being conscious of doing right and wrong to attain) only produces death (2 Cor 3:6). We were never created to live with the knowledge of sin. The plan was always life. Two trees. Life. The other knowledge. They were tricked and chose wrong and immediately gained a consciousness of sin. Jesus was the only way to get back to life. The more we seek Him the more we become like Him and we will begin to walk as He did. In freedom, in love, and in life more abundant. If someone is teaching you rules and regulations to achieve something instead of focusing on His love and you changing supernaturally get out of there. Like I mentioned yesterday, it’s freedom over here. And that’s only found in Him.
If you are not saved or know someone that isn’t saved and what I mean by saved is believe that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior please follow the ABCs of salvation below by repeating.
Accountability- say, Dear God, I am a sinner,
Believe, I believe Jesus Christ is the son of God and that he died for all of my sins, past, present, and future and finished the work on the cross.
Confess - I believe that you resurrected from the grave on the 3rd day and confess you as Lord and Savior of my life. Heavenly Father thank you for sending Jesus to die in my place and I am now the Righteousness of God through Christ Jesus.
After this, simply believe it in your heart.
