1 Timothy 4:1-5
“Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron, forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from foods which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth. For every creature of God is good, and nothing is to be refused if it is received with thanksgiving; for it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.”
We are in the latter times. Everyday something tragic is happening. The Scripts clearly tells us it would be worse in the last days. People are departing from the faith and going over to other beliefs. I get it. Why where you attend church is important. Why what you hearing is important. Many things can be avoided if what we are hearing is preached right. Is the preacher focusing more on self than he is on Jesus? Do you feel like you’re not good enough all the time? Do you feel condemned? Is the preacher not telling you how much you are loved by the Father? How righteous you are? These are hints that you are not in the right space and need to leave. This is why people leave church. All the “rules.” If relationship with the Father isn’t the main thing being preached, run! It says in the scripture for today, “having their own conscience seared with a hot iron.” Simply meaning, having a consciousness of sin and not in the righteousness of God. This is why we continue in sin. We try to do it of our own power. When we fail, we be like I might as well go crazy then. I know that used to be my thinking. When you don’t know much was done for us at the cross, you rely on self. That’s failure every time. I love that free will. It will always be our choice. I made my decision. What will you do? He’s coming
If you are not saved or know someone that isn’t saved and what I mean by saved is believe that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior please follow the ABC’s of salvation below by repeating.
Accountability- say, Dear God, I am a sinner,
Believe- I believe Jesus Christ is the son of God and that he died for all of my sins, past, present, and future and finished the work on the cross.
Confess- I believe that you resurrected from the grave on the 3rd day and confess you as Lord and Savior of my life. Heavenly Father thank you for sending Jesus to die in my place and I am now the Righteousness of God through Christ Jesus.
“that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”
Romans 10:9
After this, simply believe it in your heart.
